Dr. Vera Hughes - President and Founder (co-host "The Dr. V. Show")

"Destined to WIN", Dr. Vera Hughes passionately desires others lives to be enriched in every area. After serving as a computer consultant to corporate America’s fortune 100 companies, Wall Street firms, and government agencies, she knew it was time to fulfill her life’s calling to empower others to reach their goals.

A dynamic motivational and inspirational speaker, she has quickly become a much sought-after keynote speaker for many retreats, business meetings, women’s groups, corporate functions, non-profit organizations, schools, various groups, and other special events.

Ordained a minister in 1993, Dr. Vera has served for more than 20 years alongside her husband, Dr. Charles E. Hughes. They are both 1995 graduates of Rhema Bible Training Center a.k.a. Kenneth Hagin Ministries. In 1996, they pioneered Living Water Bible Church, Inc., (now Good Samaritan Ministries which includes future plans for Oasis International Church) located in Plano, Texas.

In January 1999, Dr. Vera founded the Women’s International Network (WIN) of Ministries, an organization which equips, mentors, and empowers women by networking resources to ensure maximum success in their life endeavors.

In May 2001, Dr. Vera and her husband felt a new direction and launched "Beyond The Walls" to help people who are not only down-and-out, but up-and-out. Their overall vision includes a fully accredited education center, living complex which includes residential homes, youth center, recreational facilities, business center, medical facilities, shopping center, and youth entrepreneur program.

Dr. Vera is also an author. In her debut book released in June 2005, she compels readers to come to seek their God given destiny through her life, death and life again experience. She is also authoring several other books to be released late 2009 which includes the motivational book, "You Can Live On Top Even When the Bottom Drops Out"! which is surely to be on the New York Times bestsellers list!

She has appeared with her husband on several television networks such as the Trinity Broadcasting Network and Dallas Cable Television. Dr. Vera has also co-hosted with her husband a radio program, "The Winning Formula" broadcasted over KSKY 660 AM in Dallas, Texas. In September 2007, she was interviewed by Sid Roth (www.sidroth.com) on his international Messianic Vision radio broadcast she share of life, death, and life-again story.  Many have testified as to being healed and delivered after hearing this radio broadcast.

Dr. Vera's recent adventure includes launching of a radio show with her twin sister, Dr. Valeria Corbett called "The Dr. V. Show".  This show addresses issues facing the 21st century women. 

Dr. Vera also holds a B.S. degree in Business Administrator/Economics from Lincoln University located in Oxford, PA. On June 25, 2005, she received her Doctorate in Divinity/Counseling from Bellgrove Theological Seminary located in Baton Rogue, Louisiana.

Dr. Valeria Corbett - Ministry Advisor (co-host "The Dr. V. Show")

"She knew as a young child that she would be instrumental in changing the lives of many people worldwide..."

Dr. Valeria encourages, inspires, uplifts, motivations and has a genuine way of presenting the gospel in love and with a spirit of JOY! Since her activity working in the ministry starting in 1988, Dr. Valeria has shared the “good news” with many people from the United States, several countries in Africa, and London England. Since her church upbringing as a young child and early work in the church, Valeria has grown tremendously in study and exhortation of the Bible. Valeria has a desire to share simplicity of the gospel with women, men and children of all ages and has a strong desire to touch the lives of many. Her style of teaching has enabled even the newest babe in Christ to grasp the Word of God. Valeria has been involved in ministry and has preached, mentored, and trained literally thousands of people worldwide to live a godly, Christian lifestyle and have a “victorious spirit.”

She has authored many hands on teaching manuals and workbooks for practical instruction in the areas of motivation, women and self-esteem and evangelism. She has also created many workshops in the area of financial freedom. She has a special heart for teaching, reaching by evangelism, entrepreneur growth and church growth. Her sense of humor and laughter has caused many to be healed and set free from much bondage in their lives. Dr. Valeria shares stories of triumph, tragedy and overcoming! Dr. Valeria supports her husband of 20 years in many aspects of the ministry. Pastor Calvin Corbett is currently the overseer of churches in Malawi, Africa. (They currently support 35 churches in Malawi, Africa). They are also founders of Good News Ministries Aid International Outreach aiding in the needs of Malawi and Nigeria, Africa. Their current projects include completion of orphanage and school that houses 35-50 children, a school for 100 students and school of ministry for 130 pastors. Together they have ministered in numerous countries and have impacted the nations by their love for God, people and the world. Dr. Valeria received her Doctorate in Christian Psychology from Word Bible College in Jacksonville, Florida under the auspices of Dr. Kim Daniels accredited by Jacksonville Seminary. Pastor Calvin is a graduate of Louisiana Baptist University. Dr. Valeria and Pastor Calvin have 2 children who love God, serve Him and have dedicated their lives to Him.
